Main story
In 1930, 'Montana Jones', who runs a one-man airline and cargo company in Boston, USA, takes a package and visits the Boston Museum of Nature, where his cousin Alfred works as a doctor of archaeology.
The package was sent by Alfred's teacher, Professor Gerrit, and contained a gold medal, a clue to the search for the treasures of the Mayan civilization. As soon as two people are admiring the medal, the museum is ruined by the sudden appearance of the gunmen, and every month is taken away.
Afterward, she receives a record of Professor Gerrit's orders from Aunt Agatha's store as a parcel and finds out that the culprit who stole the medal was Lord Zero, who was trying to collect treasures from all over the world.
Professor Gerrit says Lord Zero went to the Mayan ruins in Mexico to dig up the secrets of the gold medal and asks them to find the medal. Waiting for an exciting adventure, Montana takes Alfred straight to Mexico.
By the time they reached their destination, Montana's plane broke down and the two made an emergency escape. You fall into the market and mess up the shops, and you're chased by angry merchants
Just as I was on my way to the Mayan ruins, a woman named 'Melissa Thorn' suddenly appeared. Melissa is forced to accompany her when she accidentally follows her while looking for something that fell in the car.
Montana and Alfred, who arrived at the Mayan ruins and were exploring the ruins, found a group of Lord Zero viewers. Lord Zero was building a Mayan civilization airship through Dr. Nitro, and Montana took away the gold medal, and the power source, and ran away.
Since then, the three traveled around the world to find ancient treasures at Professor Gerrit's request. And everywhere you go, you take the risk of protecting the treasure from the Lord Zero Sutra and handing it over to a legitimate institution.
Broadcasting in Japan
In Japan, NHK from April 2, 1994 to April 8, 1995
It aired every Saturday at 18:10 for 24 minutes / 52 episodes.
It was a work that was quite popular around the world at the time of its airing, and it was aired in many countries, but it is a pity that it is difficult to see high-definition data now.
Broadcasting in Korea
Since then, the Tooniverse dubbing version was broadcast on MBC from March 4th to June 3rd, 1996, and I don't know why, but on the other hand, it was cut off for 5 to 10 minutes by compressing the contents of two episodes.
So, the connection is a little strange, but it contains the core of Montana's performance, discovery of relics, confrontation with the Zero Kyung group, and famous lines at the end of the episode, so I think I'm looking at the summary.
Episodes dealing with Japan in episode 51 were cut off because of the Japanese controversy, and only 51 of the 52 episodes were aired. Since then, it has been re-run several times, including on ITV Kyung-In Broadcasting.
This piece is
I think it's my first time watching it on MBC Suinhwa was unique, but it also tells the stories of ancient ruins around the world
It was also interesting to find hidden treasures to avoid traps. The battle between Dr. Nitro's newly created robot and Montana and Lord Zero was also interesting. Lord Zero and Dr. Nitro's last words like licorice remain in my memory even after many years!!
The 20-minute omnibus-style content properly mixes the characters' daily lives and historical sites, jokes, and confrontations with Lord Zero, and each episode is neatly finished, so you can enjoy it separately.
In particular, the painting is quite excellent, and there are few bank scenes, and the action scenes and relics are well expressed. You can feel that they paid attention to various things, such as European OST, which could have been heard better in existing animations, and the country's traditional music whenever they visited each region.
